Certificate II in Community Services (Child Care)

With thanks to the Queensland Government – Skilling Queenslanders for Work, Ipswich Community Youth Service in partnership with TAFE Queensland (Springfield) are excited to offer Care to Work – Certificate II Community Services (Early Childhood).

Here is some information relevant to the certificate:

• Certificate II will commence 4^th October 2023 at TAFE Springfield Campus for 18-28 year olds.
• Class Days are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week (8.30am-4.15pm)
• 10 weeks plus 50 hours of Child Care placement (unpaid)
• Qualified TAFE teacher plus ICYS support worker at all times
• ICYS Support worker based at TAFE on the other two days per week to support any participant with extra curriculum support that may be needed.
• Support to help with resume writing, cover letters and employment search.
• Support to find suitable placement if required.
• Great entry level course that will set up participants so they can go on to gain a Certificate III Traineeship after completing this course!

• NO COSTS involved to participants (fully funded under Skilling Queenslanders for Work).
